Boarding school life at NIGE Esens
Our NIGE school in Esens also is a boarding school for those students who live on the Eastfrisian islands and want to finish their school career with an A-level degree. Check out our interviews with some of the 130 students currently boarded in our campus in Esens and get to know what they think about living in Esens.

Today we were at a rehearsal of the boarding school band. We conducted an interview with the players of the band. At the end, we could listen to two songs.

Moira: “I love speaking German!”
The NIGE offers an exchange program with the USA. Today we met Moira, an exchange student from Minnesota and asked her some questions. Moira talked with us about German and American culture, her Low-german experiences and the secret of the tea of Eastfrisia.
Das NIGE bietet ein Austauschprogramm mit den USA an. Wir haben heute Moira, eine Schülerin aus Minnesota, getroffen und befragt. Moira sprach mit uns unter anderem über deutsche und amerikanische Kultur, ihre Erfahrungen mit der Plattdeutschen Sprache und das Geheimnis des Ostfriesentees.
