New Jersey hat eine lange Geschichte hinter sich. Sie geht zurueck bis zur Amerikanischen Revolution. Es waren Deutsche Soeldner namens Hessen, die für beide Seiten während des Krieges dienten. New Jersey hat auch den Namen “Garden State” und es gab viele berühmte Deutsche, die nach New Jersey kamen.
New Jersey has a lot of history behind it. It dates as far back as the American Revolution. There were German Mercenaries named Hessians that served for either side during the war. New Jersey also has the nickname the “Garden State”. There were many famous Germans who came to America as well.
This interview is about soccer in Ramsey. Our team is very good and skilled, and we have had a great season. Here in the German AP class we are three kids who play soccer in Ramsey, and we will talk about the history of soccer in Ramsey and this years team.

Michael is a radio host and holds a discussion about violence in school. He has two guests with conflicting opinions. Christina is with him, and Christine is on the phone. They talk about school security at Ramsey High School and the bullying epidemic.
